I will openly admit that I have no special attachment to Halloween. I'm not crazy about my kids visiting strangers and I'm not crazy about them eating candy. (note: we never actually buy candy or sweets and we rarely ever eat it) I also really don't like doing a regular run to the grocery store only to find a life-size animated zombie that talks and pulls his own head off while my kids stare with wide eyes. (you better believe I ripped that extension cord out of the wall so fast and pushed the "guy" out of sight)
But...I will also openly admit that there are few cuter things in life than a child dressed up in a mouse costume. And if something that simple can make my child squeal with delight at the sight of it, then I cave.
