The past couple of days have been so much fun! We've been creating a bedroom for our Murielle! I was feeling bad that she has to be 2 floors away from us, in the basement, but felt better after reading this post by Jordan Ferney.
We let Murielle do as much of the decor choosing as I could possibly handle. She couldn't make up her mind on a wall color...first she said purple, then pink, so we chose a light purpley-pink. :) Then she said she specifically wanted a rug that looks like grass...then she wanted it to be brown, so it would look like the ground. Needless to say, mommy helped quite a bit when it came down to decision making...and she LOVES her new room. Together we decided on a colorful garden theme, so it really looks like a perfect room for a little girl! We still need to hang a couple things and buy a rug, so when that happens I'll definitely post pictures!
Our next project is painting the family room, which I am determined will happen before this baby makes his appearance. I've got a little less than 2 months to go!
